About The Company

DB Studios Multimedia is an all-in-one production studio focusing on video production, web and print design, screenprinting and all other multimedia forms.  With a degree in Digital Video and Multimedia, David has been working in the video and graphic design fields for 10 years, focusing heavily on the action sports community.

My passion for the arts started back when I was a young child. My dad was a musician and my mom was both creative, artistic and had a passion for photography. I guess you could say the creativity is in my blood. I am the oldest of three brothers and a big part of our younger days were spent listening to music and doing arts and crafts. As I grew into a teenager I played the drums, took art classes and became computer savvy. I also took a big interest in outdoor activities such as motocross, paintball, snowboarding. These were great activities to participate in as well as watch. I began picking up a video camera while participating in these activities and enjoyed capturing life on film. I filmed friends and family in action sports and enjoyed the editing process. Translating the film into stories was something I grew passionate about which landed me in film school where I excelled.

I have taken courses in computer graphics, adobe photoshop, dreamweaver and various others to help my creative brain work well with the technical side of graphic design. I enjoy working with people creating their vision of either website, commercial, movie, or any other creative entity they may need. My projects include film, design and event production. I was Director of Operations for Salmfest 4 and 5 and most recently a very successful debut of Salmfest 6 at the Norwalk Oyster Festival 2010. I enjoy bringing all the elements of an event together with an exciting end result.

My film background ranges from Action sports, Independent Films, sports, documentaries, Commercial/promo production and DVD authoring and menu design. I enjoy creating logos and websites, production material and have worked on Mike Steidley, HEAL CLothing, Stimilon International, Doug Henry and The Tony Brown Foundation.
